Kafka project has started as three illustrations, all based on characters in Kafka's stories, and it turned into a series of large scale paintings and objects, such as masks. The objective is to create crossbreed, an interesting dialogue between illustration and fashion, between ancient and modern thinking, and between human and animal. Humanimal, if you may… The main theme of this project is transformation, both physical and mental.
I see the crossbreed story as my story, as a research project that represents my perspective and my creation methods. It's as much personal as it is social, touching upon cultural themes and trends. I'm looking forward toward embedding people from different countries and ethnic backgrounds.
